Manage Windows XP's Themes Change

When we change the Windows XP themes, some settings such as icons, sounds, screen savers, pointers, etc. will also be changed. Sometimes this is inconvenient because we have to reset the settings that do not want to change, but with these few tricks you can customize themes change according to your desired some setting not be changed depending on our choice. Here's how:

  • Run Registry Editor by typing regedit in the [Start]> [Run].
  • Go to the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Plus! \ Themes \ Apply
  • Double-click the setting you want, for example, Sound events and then replace its value with 0.
  • Do this for other settings you want. Well, now you change-replace the themes, some of the settings you have set had not changed. To restore to the original, you can simply restore the value to one another.

Good luck.
